Gaithersburg Book Festival coming up

On Saturday, May 17 I'll be in Gaithersburg, Maryland for the Gaithersburg Book Festival. I'm sharing a session with my dear friend and writing/teaching colleague Kathi Appelt.I'll also be visiting a school or two in the area. Thanks in advance to the festival organizers, my publisher (Atheneum Books for Young Readers/Simon & Schuster), and An Open Book Foundation for making this visit possible.
